Global Outreach

Pakistan is one of the most challenging mission fields in the world. Christians make up less than 2% of the population and often face intense persecution. Sharing the Gospel openly can be dangerous—even life-threatening.

Mercy in Action partners with Asher and Anita Mehmood, who are based in the United States, and work closely with a dedicated team of pastors and church leaders serving communities throughout Pakistan. Together, they are advancing the Gospel in powerful and practical ways.

In areas where families are trapped in generational slavery within brick factories, micro schools have been established to give children access to education, dignity, and hope for a different future. At the same time, the message of Christ is spreading, with over 150 house churches being planted as new believers gather, grow, and share their faith.

MIA helps support these ministries by providing food for struggling families, textbooks for students, and Bibles for new believers. Through these combined efforts, lives are being transformed—both physically and spiritually—as the light of the Gospel continues to shine in some of the darkest places.
